Press Release - Burger King Traffic Accident

Below is a press release from Milton Police Lieutenant John Conger about the traffic accident at Burger King in Milton.

On November 18, 2012 at approximately 3:45pm, the City of Milton Police Department and the Milton Fire Department were dispatched to the Burger King restaurant, located at 740 E. St. Mary St., for a reported traffic accident with injuries. Responders were informed that a vehicle had been driven through the North side of the building.

Upon arrival it was determined that nobody was injured in the incident, however, the building did sustain heavy damage.

Operating the vehicle was Constance Fisher, 74, of Milton. The investigation revealed that Ms. Fisher was accelerating too rapidly while attempting to park, causing the vehicle to jump the curb and impact the restaurant.

After conferring with officials on the scene, Burger King management decided to close the restaurant until the structure’s damage could be examined.
