February News from the Milton Public Library

Be a Friend of the Library!

If you've never done so or if it's time to renew, please consider becoming a Friend of the Milton Public Library in 2012. The Friends group is an independent, non-profit, community-based organization dedicated to strengthening Milton Public Library's outreach.

Since it began, hundreds of individuals, families and businesses have joined the Friends, holding book sales and other programs to raise thousands of dollars for the Library.

By becoming a member, your participation helps provide needed unbudgeted items. In addition, membership entitles you to shop at the "member's only" preview at the yearly Friend’s book sale and offers opportunities to volunteer. Being a friend is a satisfying way to support our community. Memberships start at just $8 a year. Your contribution is tax-deductible. Applications are available on the website and at the library.

By the way, free totebags are now available to those joining at the $15 and $25 levels.

See you at the library,

Lisa, Library Director
