Parade Winners Announced

Here is a Celebrate Milton press release from last week that announces the Milton Fourth of July Parade Winners.  Congratulations!

The Celebrate Milton Committee is proud to announce the winners of the trophies for “Best Use of Theme” during the Fourth of July Parade that was held on Monday, July 4, 2011 at 1 p.m. in Milton. The theme was “Stars and Stripes.” 

After a significant amount of deliberation due to the fact that so many excellent floats and parade entries incorporated the parade’s “Stars and Stripes “ theme, the following award winners were announced: 

First Place award for theme use went to Milton Paintball Park. The float’s dynamic interactive display did a superb job of incorporating the Stars and Stripes theme. The Second Place award went to Milton Senior Living whose float decorations incorporated the Stars and Stripes theme quite well. The Third Place award went to Friends of Noah and their ever playful canine companions who accompanied them down the parade route. 

All three award winners will receive a trophy commemorating their experience in the 2011 Milton Fourth of July parade presented by Air Products. 

The Celebrate Milton Committee thanks all of those who participated in the parade and who made this year’s parade such a tremendous success. The committee hopes that everyone will register to participate in the Fourth of July parade again next year.
