The next Nonprofit Task Force meeting will be held on December 12, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the City Hall Breakroom located on the lower level of the Shaw Municipal Center, 430 E. High Street.
The Nonprofit Task Force meets quarterly. Typically the meetings include a speaker and roundtable discussions where nonprofit organizations have the opportunity to update the group on their activities and potentially find different ways for groups to collaborate.
The upcoming meeting will feature a presentation from Judy Formosa from the Mercy Employee Assistance Program. She will present "Managing Stress During Challenging Times."

Judy Formosa manages the Mercy Employee Assistance Program for approximately 3800 partners internally across the Mercy Health System as well as ten external employer group contracts regionally. She is passionate about supporting her clients with a priority focus upon maintaining positivity, and achieving wellness with stress management and resiliency presentations, as well as improving personal and work relationships overall.
Judy has previous experience in business management, has worked for years as a clinical counselor, as well as an EAP consultant for CIGNA Behavioral Health in Minneapolis before returning to her roots in Wisconsin nearly 6 years ago. Judy holds a graduate degree from Edgewood College in Madison, is licensed as a Marriage & Family Therapist, and is certified as an Employee Assistance Professional.
