First Meeting of the Downtown Development Action Committee on February 21st
Mayor Frazier and the Common Council are excited to announce the development of the Downtown Development Action Committee. The committee will work to unify development efforts in both the Goodrich Square and Merchant Row downtown districts, with an emphasis on improving the entire community. The first meeting of the Downtown Development Action Committee will take place on February 21, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. in the City Hall Break Room, located on the lower level of the Shaw Municipal Center, 430 E. High Street.
The Downtown Development Action Committee will bring forth a community focused approach, specific to each downtown district, working as a cohesive unit of representatives of Milton’s proud and unique sense of history and will work together to build a unified vision for the development of both downtown districts.
All who are interested in working to develop the Goodrich Square and Merchant Row downtown districts are invited to attend the first meeting of the Downtown Development Committee on February 21, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. Membership for the committee will be determined at this initial meeting.
