Goodrich Square Plan Presentation on July 20th
The Milton community is welcomed and encouraged to attend a meeting at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, July 20th to learn about possible plans for the Goodrich Square development in Milton. The meeting will be held in the Common Council chambers in the lower level of City Hall, 430 E. High Street.
For several months the City's Community Development Authority and City Council have been working with the City's planners from Vandewalle & Associates to prepare a vision and plan for our Parkview Drive downtown district. Specifically, that area is being dubbed "Goodrich Square". The purpose of this planning effort is summed up best by taking a direct quote from the draft plan: “Goodrich Square should be a well-designed, well-maintained, and vibrant part of the community that instills pride and a strong sense of place to Milton residents while communicating the city’s rooted and historic identity to visitors.”
The draft plan documents and maps are now available on the City's website. Because of its size, the plan document is split into two separate PDF files. Click on this link to view the on-line information: http://ci.milton.wi.us/document_display.aspx?cat_id=437&cat_type=.
