"What's That???" Winner!

The new "What's That???" winner is Megan Ellefson. The photo was the top of a wine bottle at Northleaf Winery. The original picture is below.

Northleaf Winery is located at 232 S. Janesville Street. Click here to see a map. The winery is located in the newly restored John Alexander/Sunnyview Orchard Warehouse. The building was put on the National Registry of Historic places in 1978, and work on restoration of the building and an addition to accommodate the winery began in 2007. Northleaf Winery officially opened for business on February 11, 2009.

Northleaf Winery offers a variety of wines that are crafted on site, and patrons are able to taste test the wines in the Tasting Room. The facility is also available for private tastings. Through the Wine Club, members are able to access limited quantity wines from the Town Square Series. Contact the Northleaf Winery for more information about the program.

If you want to personalize a bottle of wine for an event or someone special, consider asking Northleaf Winery to create a custom label for your bottles of wine.

The Winery also has a wide selection of chocolates, crackers, and locally crafted cheese and sausage to compliment any bottle of wine. Other gifts available at the winery include locally crafted gift baskets and wine charms, hand painted glasses, corkscrews, and wine racks.
