Opening on Historic Preservation Commission

City of Milton Mayor Thomas Chesmore is currently seeking applicants with an interest in historic preservation to serve on the Historic Preservation Commission through 2013.  Committee Questionnaires are available on the City’s website or at City Hall, 430 E. High Street.

Professional training or practical expertise in real estate, law, urban planning, or architecture is preferred but not necessary. The Historic Preservation Commission works to educate the community about historic properties and protect those properties.  Meetings are typically held on the first Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m.
