COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
EXPERIENCED RESIDENTIAL CONTRACTORS ARE NEEDED TO BID ON RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS
WHEN: January 31, 2013, 3:30-4:30 P.M.
WHERE: Milton City Hall, 430 E. High St., Milton, WI
The City of Milton will hold a contractor information meeting for the Community Development Block Grant program.
This meeting will provide information to contractors about the program and how the contractors can be eligible to bid on projects.
WHAT: The City of Milton has received Community Development Block Grant funds. This program provides funds to qualifying households to conduct needed Housing Repairs, including:
- Repairs to correct Health & Safety Hazards
- Repairs to structural defects
- Repairs to correct Code violations
Roofing Heating Water Heater Plumbing Electrical Upgrade, Structural Repairs, Siding, Windows, Handicapped Access, Lead Hazard Reduction
CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS:
To be eligible to bid on these projects, Contractors need to meet the following qualifications:
- Incorporated with the State (either Wisconsin of Illinois),
- Have the proper licenses,
- Have required contractor insurance,
- Complete an application form,
- Have several construction & business references.
