Press Release - Indecent Exposure Suspect Arrest

In September 2013, the City of Milton Police Department received two early morning complaints about a male subject exposing his genitals to two females at two separate locations within the City of Milton. At that time, no suspect information was developed.

On October 28, 2014, at approximately 8:15 a.m., Officer’s from the City of Milton Police Department initiated a traffic stop for the Rock County Sheriff’s Office on a vehicle that was believed to be involved in an incident that took place on Vickerman Road. Subsequent investigation led to a confession from Michael R Peterson, 30, of Janesville; that he was involved in the two prior indecent exposure incidents in September 2013 in the City of Milton.

Peterson was tentatively charged with two counts of Lewd and Lascivious Behavior, a Class A Misdemeanor. Peterson was taken to the Rock County Jail where he was processed and released with an upcoming court date.
