The Milton Historical Society will be holding their Annual Heritage Day this Saturday, October 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a FREE family event. Come wander the Milton House grounds and watch skilled artisans perform trades of yesteryear; weaving, spinning, smithing, wood carvers, wheelwright, Buckskinners, kid’s crafts, and more! The Wis-Ill Model Railroad Club will be open and on display in the green warehouse building. Bring your lawn chairs, picnic blankets and your family out for a day
of fun and excitement while enjoying time at a National Historic
Landmark. The Milton Historical Society/Milton House Museum is located
at 18 South Janesville Street, Milton, Wisconsin.
Tours will be available of The Milton House Museum at 10 a.m., Noon, and
2 p.m. Prices for the guided tours are $6 adults, $5 seniors, and

This year there will also be a Rummage Sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the green warehouse building, proceeds benefit the Milton House.
Two free Historic Walking Tours will also be taking place, one at 10 a.m. and one at 2 p.m., both starting at the Milton House parking lot. The 10 a.m. tour will be about "Goodrich Square." Topics that will be covered include the Ezra Goodrich House, Seventh Day Baptist Church, Polly Goodrich House, Grout Homes, History of the Railroad, Flooding of 1938, and much more. The 2 p.m. tour will be about "North Milton." Topics that will be covered include the Milton House, Goodrich Blocks, Storrs Lake, A.B. Lee Harness Making, North Milton School, Milton Cemetery, and much more.
