Press Release - Farm City Elevator Burglary
Below is a press release from Milton Police Lieutenant John Conger regarding a reported burglary at Farm City Elevator.
On November 4, 2012, at approximately 9:30am, our agency responded to a reported burglary at Farm City Elevator, located at 302 Vincent Street. The investigation revealed that entry was forced to three different locations on the property. The office, the basement, and an adjacent utility shed were all forcibly entered.
Stolen in the burglary was a First Alert brand security camera, valued at approximately $230.00. The camera was still packaged in its original box. Damage resulting from the forcible entries is believed to be in excess of $1000.00.
The incident took place between 6:00pm, November 3, 2012 and 5:30am, November 4, 2012. Individuals that come forward with information that leads to the arrest of those responsible for this crime are eligible for a cash reward through Janesville Area Crimestoppers.
