Update - STH 26 Bypass Project
Below is an update on the STH 26 Bypass Project.
Good afternoon,
As you can all see the orange traffic drums and temporary construction signs are slowly disappearing. The crews will be working the remainder of the week to finish up miscellaneous punch list items throughout the project. This week will conclude the construction activities on State Highway 26 from John Paul Road to Townline Road. Crews are also wrapping up construction on the Milton bypass for the season. The new bypass around Milton will be operational next fall (2013).
The Batterman and construction crews have appreciated your patience throughout the past construction season. We are happy to report an injury free summer and thank you for driving cautiously through the construction zones. I hope you all enjoy the new and much safer section of State Highway 26. If you have any last minute questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the State Highway 26 project staff at our project field office.
