City of Milton Inclement Weather Announcements-PUBLIC LIBRARY CLOSED AND WARMING SHELTER OPEN
In an effort to promote citizen safety and safety for our staff during inclement weather, the City of Milton presents the following announcements related to our facilities for Monday, Jan. 6th, 2014:
MILTON PUBLIC LIBRARY CLOSED ON MONDAY, JAN. 6TH, 2014: Due to the unusually cold temperatures, the Milton Public Library will be closed all day on Monday, Jan. 6th, 2014. City Hall and all other public offices will be open as usual.
WARMING SHELTER AVAILABLE ON JAN. 6TH, 2014: There will be a warming shelter available at Milton City Hall located at 430 E. High Street in the City of Milton. The shelter is in the lower level (Council Chambers) and will be open from 8am-4:30 pm on Monday, January 6th, 2014. The shelter will be open to the general public as a place for all who need to stop in and get warm.
